General terms — LazDev
These general terms and conditions apply to software development services provided by LazDev (lazdev.io). A printable PDF is available using the button above.
1. Definitions
- LazDev: the freelancer providing software development services.
- Client: the individual or business purchasing services.
2. Scope of services
LazDev provides software development services including web, mobile, and backend development as agreed in the quotation.
3. Offers & agreements
- All offers (quotations) are non-binding until accepted by the client.
- An agreement is formed when the client approves the quotation.
4. Payment terms
- 50% upfront before work begins.
- 50% after delivery.
- Payment term: 14 days unless stated otherwise.
- Late payments may result in additional fees or suspension of work.
5. Delivery & timeline
- Timelines are estimates unless explicitly agreed.
- Delays caused by the client (feedback, materials) extend deadlines.
6. Revisions
- Includes reasonable revisions as agreed.
- Additional changes outside scope may be billed separately.
7. Client responsibilities
The client must:
- Provide clear requirements.
- Deliver content and materials on time.
- Communicate feedback promptly.
8. Intellectual property
- Full ownership transfers after final payment.
- LazDev may showcase work in its portfolio.
9. Liability
- LazDev is not liable for indirect damages (loss of profit, data, etc.).
- Liability is limited to the value of the project.
10. Termination
- Either party may terminate in writing.
- Work completed must be paid.
11. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep sensitive information confidential.
12. Applicable law
- Dutch law applies.
- Disputes are handled in the Netherlands.
